"Emile" hugging Hayato
First appeared as a mysterious silver-haired young girl in the Second Attack, her childhood friend had woken her up at their usual meeting place and was informed about the savage attacking the Gudenburg Empire. After the two of them avoided the first couple of attacks from one of them, she soon suffered a wound from one of their pincers after being caught, then was later saved by the artillery fire from the military. Though she was soon infected by their virus and begun to suffer as a result of it until her friend started to suck up some of the savage virus, which had been put into her body and spat it out, before she was able to thank him for saving her, he was knocked out by a group of guards.
Years, later under the alias of "Emile Crossfode", she met with her childhood friend, Hayato Kisaragi again and immediately rushed and hugged him to the ground. Emile was immediately thought of as being a girl, but Emile maintains the cover of being a male student. Both of them soon met with the two friends from childhood, Fritz Glanz and Latia Saint-Émillion, the former joked about their closeness.
The three male students (two male students) arrive in the male dorms, where Emilia and Hayato are revealed to be roommates. Afterward, the four of them together went to the orientation where all the students were gathered to receive their badges as proof of being students of Bugeika High School. After Emilia gained her badge before Hayato, she and the latter watched as the current Student Council President arrived on stage to give her speech, however, she was interrupted with the late arrival of Noah Sheldon and Ryu Shuemei.
After hearing about their immediate expulsion, Emilia started to argue with the decision of Claire arguing that she was misusing her families' authority. After giving her reasons, as well as noticing the presence of Hayato who had also intervened, Claire later compromised and soon challenged Hayato to a fight to decided whether or not Noah and Ryu would be expelled for being late. Though Emilia wasn't fine with the challenge for Hayato to fight against the Student Council President, she relented after he agreed to the challenge. After the orientation finished, Emilia watched as Noah and Ryu apologize for the trouble, but she stated that Hayato would be fine much to the dismay of the latter.
To prepare for his battle against Claire Harvey, Emilia took Hayato to meet a friend of hers inside the lab on Little Garden to retrieve his Hundred introducing him to Charlotte Dimandias and Mei Mei.
